INDUSTRY Awards
Judged by a panel of experts, NetClarity beat out most of
the competition after being narrowed down from hundreds of
applicants. "The RSA Conference Innovation Showdown is a great
competition that allows emerging companies, such as NetClarity, to
showcase innovative technology," said Sandra Toms LaPedis, area vice
president and general manager of RSA Conferences. "This company has
been recognized by the judging panel for presenting a solid business
model." SC Magazine labs independently reviews over 1,300 products and
services from over 330 competing companies globally.
NetClarity has received numerous SC Magazine awards including the
coveted BEST BUY award as well as a perfect 5 STAR product review in
all six catagories, during an independent test by SC Magazine
against leading competition. In addition, NetClarity
appliances are now used by SC Magazine to test leading vendors
information security products for potential flaws. "The goal of any product innovation must show a positive change
that improves networking," said Rake Narang, editor-in-chief,
Network Products Guide. "Innovative products such as NetClarity's
patented NACwall Micro appliances are bringing improvements to
companies of all sizes who are struggling with controlling access to
networks...The NACwall solution is the first NAC product we've seen
that solves all of these problems quickly, easily and
cost-effectively." "Security products have continued to evolve
rapidly in the past few years and advanced technologies are
now making it possible to take a pro-active approach to most
security scenarios," said Rake Narang, Managing Editor of Info Security Products
Guide. "End-users or consumers of these products have to deal with real-live
threats which may differ vastly from lab simulated
environments. These users build a strong 'Customer Trust' for
products that best meet their requirements and therefore also play a
key role in the security evolution cycle." NetClarity was named by CRN to the Who's Who in Network Admission
Control (NAC) on the Cover Story entitled "Start Me Up: New NAC
Offerings Gaining Attention" by Kevin McLaughlin, CRN. The cover
story goes on to say that "the NAC startups' window of opportunity
is likely to remain open for the foreseeable future because anything
that can be done to reduce NAC's complexity is a major benefit."
According to CRN editors, for a product to earn the CRN Test
Center Product of the Year honor, it must break past conventions and
raise the bar in terms of technical excellence. In addition, it must
help VARs and system integrators unlock new business and break free
of the pack by providing enough flexibility for them to write their
own rules with respect to configuration and customization
options. The hardware platform for the NetClarity Enterprise
NACwall did just this. All of NetClarity Products and related CVE(R) Updates Services
have been Certified by MITRE to be CVE Compatible. "We are
pleased to see NetClarity, a CVE compatible vendor, selected by RSA
as one of the top three network security Innovators in the world,"
said Robert A. Martin, compatibility lead, MITRE Corporation.
According to USCERT, 95% of network downtime and information
technology (IT) compliance issues are a direct result of an exploit
against a Common Vulnerability and Exposure (CVE). "Tolly Group engineers examined NetClarity's security solution
and determined that it delivers effective security through
proactively discovering and managing CVEs, and providing network
admission control (NAC), remediation workflow and regulatory
compliance audit tools in an easy to deploy and easy to manage
solution," states The Tolly Group report. "With an ever
expanding wave of data laundering cyber crime, NetClarity has
developed an innovative suite of NACwall products that help solve
these difficult problems in a proactive way," said Kevin Tolly,
President & CEO of The Tolly
Group. "For the first elite Northeast 100 list we surveyed more than 500 venture investors, investment
bankers, and technology insiders, who nominated hundreds of
companies to determine the Northeast 100 winners," said Tony
Perkins, Founder and Editor, AlwaysOn Network. "Each of the
Northeast 100 winners had to demonstrate leadership among their
peers in the following areas: innovation, market opportunity, commercialization, media
buzz, and stakeholder value creation. We congratulate NetClarity on this great
honor!" |
