Hal Charnley, President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Hal Charnley joined NetClarity in 2010 as our President/CEO. Mr. Charnley brings over 20 years of executive leadership expertise in high growth environments to NetClarity.
From 2004 through 2009, Charnley was the President of a leading commercial subcontractor.
Mr. Charnley provided leadership for this $30M business with 200 employees. Under Charnley’s leadership, the company was recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. by Inc. Magazine three years in a row.
Previously, Charnley was the Founder and President/CEO of Artel Video Systems, a provider of advanced switching and optical transport equipment to the global Telecom and CATV markets. Prior to Artel, Charnley was a member of the Executive team at Chipcom, a leading provider of networking equipment to the Global 5000. Mr. Charnley’s roles included Engineering Management, Division Management and Corporate Development. Prior to Chipcom, he held several senior management roles in Engineering/product development with responsibility for organizations up to 250 employees.
He holds BS, MS and MBA degrees and is past Chairman of UMass Lowell. He is a founding member of the High Growth CEO Forum, and active member of the Boston CEO Club and Presidential Advisory Council, a member of the Turnaround Management Association, a former adjunct Graduate School Professor, and a board member on several private company and non-profit Boards. He is a frequent lecturer on a variety of business topics focused around entrepreneurship, change management and business transitions.
Dawn M. Kay, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Dawn M. Kay has more than twelve years of experience in the accounting and tax field, working with small and medium size companies in a variety of industries. Dawn has a Masters of Science in Taxation as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley College. Dawn began her career working at the Internal Revenue Service. She is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Dawn serves on the State Taxation Committee of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Gary S. Miliefsky, Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Mr. Miliefsky is a founding member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, serves on the Advisory Board to The Mitre Corporation’s CVE program, is a Founding Director of the National Information Security Group (NAISG.org) and is widely recognized as the inventor of agentless, non-inline network access control (NAC) technology. He served as an informal advisor on Cyber defense to two White House administrations. He has over 20 security related patents in his portfolio.
Chuck Dunn, VP of Engineering
Mr. Dunn is the Vice President of Engineering for NetClarity, Inc. Chuck is a well known and established leader of software engineers. He has delivered numerous award winning software solutions into the market. He led engineering teams in Mobile Software for Nextel, developing breakthrough telephony and network security software. Through his consulting role at nGran, he delivered Security and eCommerce hardware and software solutions to major corporations.
BethAnn Robinson, Director of Channel Sales
Beth Ann Robinson joined NetClarity in 2010 as our Director of Channel Sales. Ms. Robinson brings over 20 years of executive channel sales expertise, in high tech start up environments, to NetClarity.
Over the past 20 years, Ms. Robinson has worked for security focused companies such as Ecora, GlobalSign, and AES to build their Domestic and International channel presence. She is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with a passion for start-ups and a track record of success. Two IPOs, one successful sale. Experience in a range of industries, including network security, enterprise software, telecom, digital graphics and video. She is very passionate about technology and looks forward to new challenges.
